Crypto horoscope for April 1to7.

Crypto horoscope for April 1 7 (2)

fresh week, fresh crypto horoscope for April 1st–7th.

This week will be marked by two transits.

  • Mercury retrograde in Aries begins on Monday, January 4th;
  • Venus enters Aries on Friday, May 4.

For several months, we have dedicated space to the crypto horoscope authored by Stefania Stimolo, an astrology and blockchain specialist. It is a weekly section with the horoscope for each zodiac sign that appears every Sunday on The Cryptonomist.

With this entertainment column, we intended to go deeper into the matter, sarcastically speaking, as part of our tagline “We Tell the Future”.

The Crypto Horoscope

Crypto horoscope for April 1 7 (1)
Crypto horoscope for April 1 to 7

We call it a crypto horoscope since it is based on business lingo.

Words like NFT, metaverse, and Over-The-Counter are used to describe actions and events, as well as trading language like bullish, bull run, bear market, or dump to define the attitude of each zodiac sign throughout the week.

Obviously, the renowned to-the-moon symbol must be present to express the tone of that sign!

In general, you may experience a time of “hard-fork,” also known as a “inner split,” or pass your lightning torch to the next zodiac sign, indicating that the Sun is moving into that sign.

Alternatively, you should consider specific cases where the planet is in discord with the zodiac sign, known as “verification.” Furthermore, with each new change of guard of the Sun across the constellations of the zodiac, the roadmap of each sign will take a new stride.

Obviously, no investing advice is offered; instead, it is purely for pleasure, just like any other horoscope. It must be noted that many newcomers to the industry have mastered the specialized crypto vocabulary owing to the horoscope on The Cryptonomist.

“Do not Trust, Verify”

Astrology is not a precise science, but it does attempt to foretell the future in its own manner. So why not include the traditional blockchain motto “Don’t Trust, Verify” here as well?

In reality, the author wishes to provide her interpretation of the planetary transits that occur during the week, detailing the reactions of each zodiac sign in accordance with the “logic” of conventional astrology.

Astrology enthusiasts may keep up to date by simply monitoring the weekly transits that are communicated and impact us in some way. Whether it’s Mercury Retrograde or the Full Moon.

Others, on the other hand, might go to the dedicated website, which is updated every Sunday, and read the horoscope for their zodiac sign, rising sign, or, why not, the horoscope of friends and loved ones.

So, don’t waste time and click here to see your weekly horoscope!

Nocturne Ear 3 TWS Earphones Could Be Released Soon After the Firm Releases a Teaser for New Product

Nothing Ear 3 could be released shortly. Although the product and debut date are still unknown, the UK-based firm recently released a teaser on social media that suggested the release of a new product. Presumably, it will be the Nothing Ear 3. In 2021, Nothing introduced the Nothing Ear 1, their first true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones. In 2022, the Nothing Ear 2 was revealed. It is anticipated that the translucent design of the Nothing Ear 3 earbuds would not change from its predecessors.

On Wednesday, the UK-based business teased a video on X. A frog is shown jumping over a black insect in the teaser. The Nothing Ear 2’s mascot was a black bug. The next generation of wireless earbuds may be on the way, according to the teaser. The frog may serve as the Ear 3’s mascot.

Since November of last year, there have been rumors about the Nothing Ear 3. Prior rumors stated that they will officially launch in January 2024.

Nothing began operations in July 2021 with the release of the transparent Ear 1 true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones, which retailed for Rs. 5,999. The Nothing Ear 2 is the replacement for the high-end active noise cancellation (ANC) earphones that were released in March 2022.

It is anticipated that the Nothing Ear 3 will offer significant improvements over the Ear 2 earphones. In India, the latter are priced at Rs. 9,999.

Each earpiece of the Nothing Ear 2 is equipped with three AI-backed microphones and has an 11.6mm bespoke driver. They claim to be able to reduce background noise by up to 40dB with their active noise cancellation feature. The earbuds support LHDC 5.0, AAC, and SBC Bluetooth codecs and are equipped with Bluetooth 5.3 connection.

The housing is built to IP55 standards, however the earpieces only have an IP54 grade for dust and water protection. Each Nothing Ear 2 earpiece has a 33mAh battery, while the charging case has a 485mAh battery.

The Velar liquidity protocol, which is powered by Bitcoin, has announced the release of its native cryptocurrency of the same name. The coin is being introduced to the trading market by ByBit, which is billed as the world’s second-biggest cryptocurrency exchange after Binance. Now that a token based on the Bitcoin project is listed on an exchange as well-known as ByBit, the team of Indian engineers behind this project asserts that the launch marks a turning point for the Bitcoin ecosystem.

Through an initial DEX offering, the Velar token will be available for trade on ByBit as of April 3. The startup wants to draw attention to the Bitcoin blockchain’s potential in the field of decentralized finance (DeFi). The company thinks there might be additional use cases and higher returns for BTC’s developer and investor communities if activity on the blockchain expands.

The co-founder and CEO of this project, Mithil Thakore, gave an explanation of why the team decided to launch Velar on the Bitcoin blockchain rather than one of the other, more affordable and energy-efficient blockchains, in an interview with Gadgets360. Due to its proof-of-work concept, Bitcoin is frequently criticized for requiring a lot of energy.

It was important to select the strongest, safest, and most reliable blockchain while deciding to construct Velar on top of Bitcoin. With its superior security, vast network, and more than $1 trillion in latent wealth just waiting to be released, the asset is unrivaled, according to Thakore. “Although other blockchains may present more cost-effectiveness or increased efficiency, none can match the history of Bitcoin as the most established and reliable blockchain.”

Velar intends to release a native trading platform for Bitcoin in the next days. Users can trade with 20 times their capital holdings on this platform in the hopes of earning higher profits. It is noteworthy that there may be a risk to investors’ funds while doing this type of trading. The company anticipates a promising future for its web3 business in India.

India offers a great opportunity due to its quick adoption of digital money and rising interest in cryptocurrencies. Velar’s cutting-edge Bitcoin DeFi solutions thrive in the nation thanks to its tech-savvy populace and vibrant development community, setting the company up for significant expansion in one of the fastest-growing economies in the world, according to Thakore.

The Velor team is one of the few investigating the applications of the Bitcoin blockchain. It has extended an invitation to other Web3 developers to explore the Bitcoin ecosystem.

“Being a strong, safe platform, Bitcoin necessitates a careful comprehension of its advantages and disadvantages. We want developers to jump in with the intention of innovating within the special constraints of Bitcoin. The CEO of the firm said, “We offer our support and guidance to those looking to build and explore. We are eager to empower builders to contribute to this evolving ecosystem.”

Report: BOE Will Produce the OLED Screen for the iPhone SE 4 Rather Than Samsung

It has been reported that Samsung withdrew from the competition to manufacture screens for the iPhone SE 4 because of problems with cost.

Report BOE Will Produce the OLED Screen for the iPhone SE 4 Rather Than Samsung

A rumor claims that the OLED screen of Apple’s fourth generation “Special Edition” smartphone, the iPhone SE 4, would probably come from a Chinese company. Three vendors were apparently involved in negotiations with the iPhone manufacturer over the price of the display for the impending midrange smartphone; one of them is alleged to have pulled out over the display’s cost. Since the current iPhone SE model was released in 2022, Apple has not yet disclosed any information on future plans to create a new model.

The Chinese electronic component company BOE (Jingdongfang), according to a ZDNet Korea story (in Korean) citing industry sources, has secured the contract to produce the OLED screen for the rumored iPhone SE 4. According to the source, Apple was soliciting bids for the iPhone SE (2022) replacement from three suppliers: Samsung, BOE, and Tianma.

The report states that BOE is probably going to supply most of the iPhone SE 4’s screens after Samsung withdrew from the competition due to concerns about its viability for business. The Chinese businesses requested $30 (approximately Rs. 2,500) per display unit, while Samsung Display allegedly proposed a price of $35 to $40 (about Rs. 2,900 to Rs. 3,300) for each unit. It is predicted that the iPhone SE 4 would have a design akin to the iPhone 14 and enable Face ID.

Apple allegedly made a far lower offer of $25, or around Rs. 2,100, which is what prompted Samsung to call off the negotiations in the middle of March. The insider informed the outlet that because of the reduced cost concerns, the South Korean tech company was not particularly interested in making the screens for the midrange phone right once.

Out of the two Chinese suppliers, BOE seems to be the only company that can make display units for the iPhone SE 4, and they are apparently prepared to deliver the part for Apple’s less expensive smartphone. In the meanwhile, Tianma has failed to match Apple’s technological specifications for the iPhone SE 4’s display, which is expected to launch in 2025.

Intel’s AI PC Acceleration Program: Empowering Developers and Hardware Manufacturers

In order to facilitate the connection between independent hardware and software providers and Intel’s capabilities, the firm announced the AI PC Acceleration Program in October 2023. The business unveiled two additional projects under the overarching program on Tuesday. The AI PC Developer Program is the initial initiative, and it is targeted at software developers. An additional initiative will be added to the program for independent hardware makers. The producer of PC chips thinks the training will help the developers become more proficient in creating tools for the AI PC age and would also help them have a deeper grasp of Intel’s environment.

The company’s AI PC Acceleration Program has been expanded, and its new focus is on making it easier for software developers to use breakthrough AI technologies at scale. Software developers and suppliers will have access to Intel’s tools, processes, AI-deployment frameworks, and developer kits with Intel Core Ultra processors.

For the chipmaker’s AI PCs, Intel will assist independent hardware manufacturers in setting up, optimizing, and enabling their technology. Partners that meet the requirements will have access to Intel’s Open Labs, where they may get technical and co-engineering help at an early stage in the development of their hardware solutions and platform. The programs are intended to function as a platform for learning as well as a collaboration between hardware makers and developers to produce solutions for Intel.

According to the business, 150 hardware providers from all around the world have already been added to the AI PC Acceleration Program. Those who are interested can register to participate and receive further information on the website. Along with this, Intel stated that it plans to use Intel Core Ultra processors across 230 designs from 12 global original equipment manufacturers to deliver more than 300 AI-accelerated capabilities to market by 2024.

Understanding the Controversy: Microsoft vs. Intel on AI PC Specifications

According to a research, Microsoft defines an artificial intelligence (AI) PC more strictly than Intel does. According to an Intel official, an AI PC for the Windows manufacturer needs a strong CPU like the Intel Core Ultra to provide AI capabilities, software-based Copilot capabilities, and a dedicated Copilot key on the keyboard. The fourth criterion is seen as peculiar as it eliminates PCs from the AI PC category that include a specialized AI CPU, GPU, and Neural Processing Unit (NPU) but not the Copilot key.

During a press briefing, Todd Lewellen, Intel’s Head of the PC Ecosystem, discussed the issue in further detail with The Verge. He said, “Intel and Microsoft have aligned on Core Ultra, Copilot, and Copilot key as part of our joint aligned definition.” From an Intel standpoint, our AI PC includes an integrated NPU and Core Ultra since these features are opening up a ton of new possibilities and features in the AI arena. Although we and Microsoft are in excellent accord, certain systems may exist that do not have a physical key but yet have our integrated NPU.

Because Microsoft is one of the major players in the AI space and has control over the operating system, it can be one of the definitive voices on which PCs will or won’t get the on-device AI features it develops. This disagreement between Microsoft and OEM manufacturers can lead to challenging situations.

An obvious fix would be for OEMs to just include the Copilot key, because most Windows-powered computers come with a Windows key already. This would, however, not apply to some intermediate devices that have been launched without a Copilot key while having the necessary hardware.

For example, Microsoft would not classify the Asus ROG Zephyrus G16, a product that is currently on the market, as an AI PC even if it has Intel’s Core Ultra CPU with AI Boost NPU. But according to Lewellen’s comments and an Intel press article that states that an AI PC “has a CPU, a GPU, and an NPU, each with specific AI acceleration capabilities,” it satisfies every need for an AI PC. What happens to these PCs is unknown. Notably, Microsoft recently revealed the Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6 for companies. Billed by the tech giant as the first AI PCs, these models come equipped with an Intel Core Ultra and a dedicated Copilot key.

Discover Business Possibilities with Fireworks.ai’s Personalized AI APIs

A California-based artificial intelligence (AI) firm called Fireworks.ai is providing businesses with a special solution. In order to assist organizations in seamlessly implementing AI capabilities, the AI firm refines open-source models and turns them into Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), rather of creating large language models (LLMs) or foundation models from scratch. The fine-tuning narrows the AI model’s scope and concentrates it on a single purpose. This enables them to greatly enhance the model’s capabilities and lower the number of AI hallucinations.

Lin Qiao, who currently serves as the business’s CEO, was a co-founder of the AI startup. According to her LinkedIn biography, Qiao and her team started the firm in October 2022 after working with AI frameworks and platforms while serving as the Senior Director of Engineering at Meta. She discussed Fireworks.ai’s business strategy with TechCrunch, emphasizing the fine-tuning service they offer. “It can be off-the-shelf, open source, or our tuned models, or our customers’ self-tuned models,” she stated. Our inference engine API may be used to service all three kinds.

This places the company in a unique position where it is bridging the gap between an LLM and a business-ready solution that can be deployed with ease, even while it is not innovating at the foundation model level. Fireworks.ai, which primarily focuses on developing APIs, allows its corporate clients to plug and play any open-source AI model from its library. According to the study, the company also enables organizations to test out various AI models in order to determine which one best suits their requirements.

The firm states that it now has 89 open-source LLMs, including Stability AI’s Stable Diffusion XL, Google’s Gemma 7B Instruct, Meta’s Llama 2 70B Chat, and Mixtral MoE 8x7B Instruct. The AI company provides the models in two formats: serverless, which eliminates the need for companies to set up infrastructure or install models, and on-demand, which can be used for dedicated deployments and is supplied on reserved GPU configurations based on business requirements.

Fireworks.ai provides three different payment plans for its on-demand format: Developer, Business, and Enterprise. The Developer plan features a pay-per-usage structure and a 600 request per minute rate restriction, while the Enterprise tier enables unique pricing options and infinite rate limitations. The serverless format has a per-token pricing structure; the cost of a given model varies based on whether it is text-only, image-only, or multimodal.

Get Cyberpunk 2077 for Free: A Five-Hour Game Trial Is Available Until April 1.

Developer CD Projekt Red has announced that Cyberpunk 2077 will be playable for free this coming weekend as part of a limited trial. For a few hours, the well-known game will be available for free on Microsoft and Sony’s current generation consoles, but not on PCs. You will be able to play the core Cyberpunk 2077 game, which requires a full download in order to be accessed during the trial. The testing scheduled for this weekend will not include the Phantom Liberty expansion.

The Cyberpunk 2077 website states that the free trial will run from March 28 at 4 p.m. CET (8 p.m. IST) to April 1 at 8:59 a.m. CEST (12:29 p.m. IST). During the trial time, you will get five hours to play the game on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S, all of which are current-generation platforms. PC gamers are not included in the experiment, according to CDPR, for “technical reasons”.

You can only play Cyberpunk for five hours during the trial time; after that, you’ll need to buy the game in order to keep playing. If, after the trial period, you decide to purchase Cyberpunk 2077, the developer claims that your saved progress will be carried over to the full version of the game.

Five hours of gameplay is a rather short period for a free trial, especially as the game has several cutscenes that need conversation, which will eat up a significant portion of the trial’s restricted duration. The Phantom Liberty expansion isn’t included in the trial, so you can’t play it if you already purchase the main game.

You will need to download the full game in order to play Cyberpunk 2077 as part of the forthcoming trial; on the PlayStation 5, this will be 99.3GB, and on Microsoft’s current-generation consoles, it will be around 103GB. During the trial period, you won’t require a subscription (like Game Pass) to play the game, and many players can test it on a single console as long as they each have their own user account.

Google Messages Beta Introduces Gemini AI Chatbot

According to reports, Google has begun to roll out a new beta version of the Google Messages app that includes Gemini AI, the company’s AI-powered chatbot. The tech giant originally revealed the AI assistant’s integration with the messaging app last month along with a number of other new capabilities for Android phones. Some users have reportedly discovered a Gemini contact option that enables them to speak with the AI directly. Nevertheless, only a few devices can use this function.

A tip by 9to5Google claims that a recent upgrade to Google Messages beta has shown Gemini as a contact when hitting the floating action button labeled “new conversation” (FAB). “Write, plan, learn, and more with Google AI” is the brief explanation that Gemini AI displays along with its logo. When users click on this button, a new chat window where they may communicate with the chatbot appears. To sign up for the beta program, go to the Google Play Store, search for Google Messages, and click the link. This will allow you to be a beta tester.

Interestingly, not all beta testers get access to the function. According to the article, customers need to meet a certain requirements before they may communicate with Google Gemini. First off, just a select few devices are reportedly receiving the update, including the Pixel 6 series or later, the Pixel Fold, the Samsung Galaxy S22 series or later, the Galaxy Z Fold, and the Galaxy Z Flip. If other devices are displaying the functionality as well, it is unknown.

Additionally, the beta testers must to be logged in using their own Google accounts rather than Workspace or Family Link accounts. In the Messages app on Android, the Rich Communications Services (RCS) function should also be activated. If you live in Canada, you should choose English or French as the language.

It has been reported that the Gemini 1.0 Pro large language model (LLM) powers the Gemini AI in the Google Messages app. Although users may converse one-on-one with the chatbot, they are unable to use Gemini in group or two-person chats. Additionally, users may alter the message bubbles’ color and submit photos. Voice communications are not supported by the chatbot. The report further claims that even with RCS enabled, end-to-end encryption is not used throughout the discussion with Gemini.
